New schedule of fees (with effect from 5th April 2004)
In accordance with the Native Land Trust (Leases and Licenses) (Amendment) (Regulations 1997), and Legal Notice 38 of Gazette No. 15 of 1997, the Minimum fees (vat inclusive) are now revised and the new rates are as scheduled below to be effective from April 5th 2004.

Note:
- The above fees are minimum rates and there is discretion for the Board to levy more depending on the nature of work, time and costs spent.
- There are some cases wherein the fees remain as was published in February 2003.
- Residential leases are exempted from VAT.
- 12% interest per annum is charged on arrears or outstanding remittance.
- Search Fee for any searches, enquiries, information required by customers.
- Dereservation - process for an exclusion of land from native reserve with consent of native owners for development as stipulated under Section 17 of Native Land Trust Act Cap 134.
